Dr. Bulan is Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus.
Originally from New York, Dr. Bulan completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University. He then attended New York Medical College, earning the NYMC Trustee Merit Scholarship all 4 years, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Bulan completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University. This was followed by fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
Prior to joining Texas Eye Institute, Dr. Bulan was in academic practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, actively involved in teaching residents and medical students at Brown Medical School, where he was Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, Department of Ophthalmology.
At Texas Eye Institute, Dr. Bulan is available for consultation in all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, from routine eye exams in children to complex surgical cases. Appointments are available at our Katy, Sugar Land, Southwest, and Angleton offices.
